WEDDING WEEK ITINERARY

DAY 1
Welcome to Kochi
Morning & Afternoon
Arrive any time during the day. Check-in opens at 2pm but early check-ins might be possible; once we receive RSVPs and flight details, we will coordinate as best as possible.
Once you arrive, you will have some time to settle into the resort and relax. There is a spa where you can get a relaxing Ayurvedic massage, and a lazy river-esque swimming pool where you can sunbathe. You can also use this time to practice your dances for the Sangeet party!
Sangeet
Evening
The Sangeet party will take place under a covered and sealed canopy by the backwaters. Don't worry - there will be air conditioning! Family and friends will be providing entertainment through song and dance and there may be a game or two. The night will end with an open dance floor.
Hors d'oeuvres will be served passed throughout the event and a buffet style dinner will be served.
Dress Code: Festive Indian.

The Big Day
Late Morning
The wedding ceremonies begin with a traditional Baraat - an entry parade by the Groom and his family. The couple will tie the knot in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony, taking pheras around the holy fire. The ceremony is expected to last 1-2 hours and will take place under a covered canopy by the backwaters.
Dress Code: Formal (Indian or Western)
Afternoon
A seated lunch on banana leaves will be served immediately after the wedding ceremony. Guests will then have a few hours to rest and get ready for the reception.
Reception
Evening
The wedding festivities end with the Reception that will take place outdoors in the Courtyard. Dinner will be served at live stations and there will be pre-assigned seating at this event. The families will present toasts to the bride & groom followed by their first dance and the night will end with an open dance floor.
